We'll see if Dan Britton will be able to conclude his ambiguous concept of 7 interweaving albums but so far, he fails to disappoint. So. Lunarians is the other sub-tier (?)/parent (??) album to Oceanarium (the other one was Heliotians)... Whatever, the music is great again :-) Carsten Pieper

I got into Anakdota after discovering Project RnL, the band Ray is also part of. This album has, apart from the stuff on Youtube, many new, exciting and modern songs like the title track "Overloading", drawing you in with its melodics and humor. "End of the Show" surprised me the most, with its emotion and concept (apart from the solos) it's simply...astonishing, as a wrapup of the album. Perfect for Prog Rock lovers (Gentle Giant, Yes, ...) and people who just got into the genre. sunshinehunter

This is a fantastic, cinematic listen of precise movements and virtuosic rhythmic switch ups. Zero dull moments, a rollercoaster ride of prog rock. Egg Wizard
The Besnard Lakes return with their first new LP in four years, full of the same mystery and wonder on which they have built their name. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 30, 2020
The Besnard Lakes are back with a new 12", and a new single. Expansive and psychedelic, much like the band's previous work. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 29, 2016

An awesome album of intelligent and therefore highly gratifying music. Modern folk with a respectful understanding of what 'progressive' can be, adding and subtracting what works for them. Fine performances from all, with an ideal production quality. Michael Reilly
